Some thoughts about this. It is almost imaginable being allowed to bring any action into a private business without the cops immediately moving in and beating/arresting everyone. Also the crowd looks quite small for something as important as a national political convention. It’s crazy how 32 years later the change our city and world has gone through. The stakes are much higher now. We expect 60-80 people at any march, protest or rally. Our favorite part is the anarchist spray painting the circle-A on the inside of the sky bridge like no big deal. One unique thing that came out of this action, the supreme court decision that flag burning is a legal form of political speech.
Really wish that some of the rowdy folks who were there were around here to help us organize, but alas in our line of work you end up dead or in jail.
